I continue to search for a deeper reason why proggies reliably win against conservatives.
Im not convinced, but does it not seem plausible that justice/egalitarian facade was the cheapest way to maintain an ingroup cooperation equilibrium?

It wouldn't have worked unless it was real justice, which is inherently, again, megafragilistic conservative.
-
Unless it was <interpreted as> real justice.
-
Unreal justice harms the productive and rewards the parasite. No tribe can survive that. Indeed that is the core proximate reason the West is now falling.
-
We need to be talking about Net harm. A high cost activity [monkey-justice] can persist if it contributes to something more vital [cooperation]. Szabo's social scalability concept. http://unenumerated.blogspot.com/2017/02/money-blockchains-and-social-scalability.html?m=1 …

That's a good retort. Let me think about it.
-
Monkey-justice is anti-cooperation by definition. If you can only be convinced to cooperate by someone defecting on you, you're might dumb.
-
There's the additional problem that anyone who uses a less-unreal justice will reliably win a war with monkey-justice.
