Bojack Horseman is not a real tv show. I don't believe that it actually exists. I am convinced that it is a meme prank that I'm not in on, & I won't fall for it. I will not be owned & will never watch this purportedly real tv show & realize that I got dabbed on epic style.

Michael Goldstein @bitsteinMuch of beloved pop culture is really just low quality advertising for physical and social toxins. In the case of early children's television cartoons: sugary cereal, snacks, and beverages (and cigarettes). There's never been a "good" tv show. Television doesn't age like other forms like books and music age

There is exactly one show on this list that even has a chance of being remembered in 100 years. Can you, without stifling laughter, imagine your great grandchildren sitting down to watch the Sopranos?

That's the case for books music plays etc as well. When's the last time you listened to music from 1918?

classical music from 1910 - 1920 holds up really well but i argue the reason we don't listen to pop music from 1920 is that the original recordings haven't lasted and few that weren't stage songs were covered also some of the most popular music is not PC anymore e.g. coon songs

Not really, marching bands used to be huge in the late romantic era but, people only know John Philip Sousa

marching bands at every parade and sports event. still a huge medium in society

This inadvertently hits on something.. the comparison set for television itself is the march, not music as a whole.
