Yitang Zhang's proof that there are infinitely many primes within ~70 million was announced when he was 58.

Weierstrass proved his approximation theorem (nowadays generalized and called the Stone-Weierstrass theorem) that continuous functions on a compact interval can be uniformly approximated by polynomials at the age of 70.
