Remember that raising hogs in factory farms and shipping them overseas is not the only option or the way things have to be. Minnesota hog farmers producing pork for local markets weren't hurt by the trade war. This should be an opportunity to rethink our dominant ag system.
It should have been a banner year for our pork producers ... until the trade war stopped sales cold.
