I think farmers have been getting handouts in the manner of subsidies with corn and siy bean for years these have driven the small farmers out and corporate farmers have been very successful. I understand that tarrif and trade have hurt but honestly it has been since the 70s.
Our farmers can't continue bearing the brunt of Trump's trade war. Farmers don't want hand outs, they want open markets to sell their products.
