Why don’t we undo the stupid tariffs instead of giving handouts? Why borrow more $$$ when all they want to do is farm and sell their stuff? How many other people are hurting because of the tariffs

Now I don’t like to see people loose everything. When you vote for someone like trump and still back the GOP to this day you are bankrupting your self. How is bailing people out of the mess they created a free market economy?

Crop ins. has been an important safety net for farmers, whose crops are completely dependent on weather. Insurance is required to be eligible for annual operating loans - which are extremely important for young farmers starting out. Farm Bill conservation programs are vital, too!

Trump all but guaranteed a trade war with his “campaign promises“. Economists warned us. Part of me feels like the farmers who voted for Trump did it to themselves and should maybe get just a little bit less of the subsidy than farmers who didn’t vote for Trump. Tough love.
