Can we count on you cosigning H.R. 676 Medicare for All if elected? Were that bill to pass, it would be big step towards improving the health care system. The private insurance system is the Rube Goldberg device of healthcare payment -- it's inherently flawed & cumbersome

OK, I read the article; sounds a little different from H.R. 676. Requiring younger folk to buy into Medicare sounds like it's meant to protect private insurers; if Medicare premiums high enough then many will still buy from private insurers thus keeping them in business.

Ideally, I think we need to demolish our current capitalist, profit based healthcare system, but not before transitioning into a public, patient-need based system. Patients shouldn't have to depend on capitalist market that is only oriented towards looking after shareholder needs
