Im wondering why you weren't talking about the Canadian milk and wheat tarrifs in the 2016 election , Canada has had a 270% tarrif on milk for a long time now and a 48% tarrif on wheat

Please keep in mind that the voices quoted in this article don't speak for all hog farmers! The owner of a 300,000-hog operation is a factory owner, not a farmer. There are other ways to raise hogs besides factory farms. Please listen to small-scale & sustainable pork producers.

Also, over-reliance on trade is not sustainable for our food and farming system. We need our federal farm policy to invest in local and regional food systems. The myth that U.S. farmers must "feed the world" harms & exploits the land & small-scale farmers here & around the world.
