    Major revisions on a perspective/review article. Initially I was upset by the comments, but most of them ended up being helpful. Went from 8173 to 11299 words. Definitely a much improved version compared to what I submitted originally. Now to polish it.

    In the era of interactive online papers, it would be cool if clicking on a ref number wouldn‘t just scroll you to the bottom of the PDF. Also what if hovering mouse over an acronym would show it‘s meaning or info about a bacterial strain, cell line etc.

    I can clearly see from my that I spent a lot of time writing grants and applications this year: and was the thing I listened to for 530 hours this year 😄. Highly recommend for any focused writing or reading activity!

    Just curious how others feel about these journals and articles? Do you trust them? Where do you draw the line between a reputable journal and one that can‘t be trusted? What are tell-tale signs? Interested in all opinions! 4/4

    Some of the data might as well be useful and reliable but there is rarely any „cross-talk“ or citations between these „murky“ journal waters and the premiere journals, including ones with similar IF‘s but, from my experience, more reputable in the field (3/4)

    and there is hundreds like these, all with similar titles à la: „Complexes of Metals A,B,C + Ligand X, Structural and Bioactivity“. In strange Journals with IFs between 0-5, sometimes dodgy websites but often from big publishing houses... (2/4)

    Currently researching for a proposal, and I come across a lot of papers like these: It‘s been cited 160-180 times (😳), IF of the Journal is 4.8, but reading the paper it just feels a bit off (e.g look at the reported NMRs) (1/4)
