    Happy to share the first of my PhD thesis papers looking at risk of fracture in ~200,000 patients prescribed canagliflozin vs GLP1. We found no increased rate of fracture with canagliflozin. Most relevant to pts at low baseline risk of fracture.

    NSMC was an inspiration to attend my first Kidney Week. Thanks to the team, I knew the opportunity to apply for the grants and get to know one of the great teams. Diversity and inclusion 🙏🙏

    I met a large community that shares the goal of learning and disseminating knowledge. internship was a great experience for me. Fortunately, I was able to bring some of this to my centre 🏥. Participating with in and has made me very 😀

    I developed unknown skills, I learned to see the information in a different way and how to identify the small details. 🧐 I learned many of my co-interns and my mentors. Thank you

    Exactly 1 year ago I had many doubts, I procrastinated for a long time to decide to apply for the Nephrology Social Media Internship, however I decided to break out with my comfort zone. 😅 Participating as an intern at the NSMC was a great opportunity for me. 🎓

    A 67-year-old woman with a history of a lung transplantation presented with dyspnea on exertion and a hemoglobin level of 6.7 g per deciliter. Bone marrow aspiration revealed giant proerythroblasts. PCR testing confirmed parvovirus B19 infection.
