“I’m gonna show that I’m not afraid to mock this upsetting thing that most ppl don’t find funny” is not brave. It’s not hilarious because it offends some people. It’s a FORMULA, and an increasingly lazy one.

The fact you bring up the PC police shows there is a PC police problem. Comedy is comedy, it’s open to ALL forms. Laugh or don’t. It’s that simple.
-
Being "non-PC" does not automatically make comedic material funny. Louis CK is substituting "non-PC" for "funny", cashing out on the capital he has built up in his name. I.e. he's a cheap-ass substitute riding on *his own* coattails.
-
Yeah but more importantly comedy really shouldn’t have to be anything, including PC. Stand-up has blown up these past few years and now the masses will suffocate it with norms. I, for one, hope comedians collectively defecate all over these opinions.
-
My point, is that comedy comes in ALL FORMS. Comics should have the freedom to be PC or non-PC. You can laugh or not laugh. You can attend a show or not. What’s funny to you may not be funny to others and vice versa.

While you make some good points, you miss the elephant in the room: today's younger generation(s) are humorless. They are scared to laugh at anything outside the box for fear they will no longer be the "amazing!" persons they've been told they are for their whole lives.
-
Buddy our sense of humor is literally like 200x more advanced than yours. We straight up laugh at the dumbest shit all the time. It ain’t hard. Just don’t be racist.
-
My contention is that the younger generation wants to censor *others' humor*... while at the same time pursuing and approving only their narrow sanitized humor.
-
Dude we are literally just saying it’s not funny. That’s not censorship lmao
-
No. The point of this thread is that younger generations are trying to shut down humor others think is funny but they dont. I'm not trying to shut down Mellenial humor that I don't think is funny. I just choose not to partake. Get the difference, "Dude"?
-
Counterpoint: nobody is doing that, you’re just fragile and paranoid
-
It's the entire point of the thread. Go to the beginning.
-
Yes. And it’s based on your paranoia and fragility, because no one is censoring shitty comedians.
