    The 8.3% jump in producer inflation coming on top of July’s 7.8% rise is a warning of how much we are in danger of falling into Jimmy Carter style inflation which hurts the poor, hurts the economy and leaves all of us poorer. 65% of all Americans oppose spending increases.
