Can someone explain the part where they keep holding votes without being certain they have agreement with the 20 holdouts?

I love what the #Braves are doing (focus on sustained competitiveness vs throwing in the chips to win it all in 2023). But as a soon-to-be-their-own-public company, do they even prioritize winning the WS? Do they even need to?

Have to admit, this isn’t bad. Clear and immediate applications for marketing and sales, even in complex B2B plays. (Copy drafts, keyword suggestions, doublechecking work). Not enough YET to take out real costs, but enough to support scale scale. #ChatGPT #b2bsales #b2bmarketing

Would “Reaganing” be the opposite of “goblin mode?” I think this is most ppl’s wfh days btw…
This is so true I had to help the kids invest their savings in Roblox stock. Then had to promptly subsidize their losses. Thanks $RBLX.
In any other context, a newly-private company rapidly shedding cost and barriers to success (e.g. employees not in the canoe) would go unnoticed by the masses. We’re just uncomfortable saying out loud that this is often the playbook for these situations.

Good read if you rely on digital ads to run your business. “…if data is the new oil, ad platforms are losing 84% of their Brent Crude.”

sure laugh at zuckerberg's stock crash but remember that in five years he's gonna own your eyeballs and pause the ads every time you blink

We too often mistake all the data and noise for "insight." I like the bar this piece sets of "information...competitors don't have access to."
Congrats to all the Mets fans out there for most games in 1st place this season! #GoBraves
Good piece from on building a fintech infrastructure. Especially the part about not straying from your initial use case.

Great piece if you're launching a startup and looking for your first customers. Selling people new stuff is hard: medium.com/@rogermartin/s #startup #sales #MarketingStrategy
“He stood up to the bully Adam Lanza and saved nine of his classmates’ lives,” Lewis said. “I hope that I did that incredible courage justice when I was able to confront Alex Jones, who is also a bully. I hope that inspires other people to do the same.”

Microtransactions and subscriptions for commodity features make no sense. Too much competition against people who are actually innovating. This is just borrowing against the brand, which will kill them in the future. WTactualF?

And before you say it:
Netflix = competitive business with no original IP having cross-channel potential (yet). And no way to monetize if they did.
Disney = monopoly
Winning streaming was never the game.

Yes, Disney botched this & lost tax status. That it’s now trading near pre-pandemic levels is a joke. Will fully monetize Avatar, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, original IP across parks, cruises, toys, movies, streaming, gaming, Metaverse. Forest > trees. stocks.apple.com/AIlbIdj7ERsu52

Fun story for anyone who has ever had to explain why product names need to be scalable. Or do they?:
The bill, called The Sunshine Protection Act, was passed by unanimous consent, meaning no senators opposed it. If enacted, the measure would mean Americans no longer need to change their clocks twice a year.

A group of Ukrainian border guards were stationed on Snake Island, in the Black Sea south of Odessa, when a Russian warship ordered them to surrender under threat of attack.
Their response: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."
They held their ground. All 13 were killed.

As seen this morning in the WSJ, J.P. Morgan has made a strategic investment in MAXEX. The investment is the 1st in a new consortium structure that will strengthen our position as the leading independent utility for the non-agency mortgage market.

Fintech in complex B2B business environments is harder to appreciate than say a new P2P mobile app feature. has improved the buying and selling of mortgages through an exchange...no small task! Thanks for telling the story.

Wonderful story of adaptability during #COVID19. As ugly as all of this is, I’m looking forward to seeing more stories of business owners who leaned into the fear and found abilities they didn’t know they had.
