Dear @TeamYouTube
As someone who grew up watching youtube and dreamed of one day becoming a youtuber because of what the site allowed, it's a real shame to see that you aren't even trying to listen to what your community has to say now.

core of the issue isn't the verification tick, I don't care about that, it's that the changes being made recently haven't been communicated well by youtube. I'm not frustrated by the changes, I'm frustrated that I don't know why they're getting changed.

It also means that people can plagiarize you with little to no repercussion. Sure, it's no big deal for bigger channels, but for smaller channels with a few million or under a million it's a huge slap in the face and again to deal with.

the verification tick was a way for people to actually know that this was the real account. youtube is making it easier for imposters

It was just for convenience, and it seems like they removed them for no reason whatsoever.

I mean, the tick also makes it so you’re content is more likely to get recommended to people.

Well your wrong there, the tick is something useful. Not just for bragging rights, but so people can’t copy and re upload your content.
