phone but for someone who turns off all notifications, I don't get to show off the cool glyph backlight 😔
I would love a setting that just makes it light up at random intervals
's Arc browser for 1 day, and already I've discovered like 5 killer features that are gonna make it very hard to go back to Chrome...
I might do a little list after I've used it as my default for like a week...
It’s no secret that a2k is a tribute to Windows 2000
I’ve even made an entire site using a2k, called Andricos2000
Play around and keep your eyes peeled for a few hidden easter eggs

One of the benefits of web components is that they’re interoperable.
You can use them in any JavaScript project.
Here's a getting started guide to set up a2k to work with vanilla JS, React, and Vue.
#React#javascript#vue
For the last few months I’ve been working on a web component library that lets you capture the feeling of the early web using modern tools and practices.
I’d like to formally introduce a2k, heavily-inspired by Windows 2000:

Was excited to try Parcel, but the lack of package.json exports support and some extra CSS requirements (enforced by the transformer) made it a little too much hassle.
Jumped back to Web Dev Server as browser features just work. I might give it another shot in the future though
When I was job hunting a few months back, I was worried about distinguishing myself from the other great candidates. One way I tried was by writing cover letters for every application
Here are my learnings from the process. I hope these job hunters
Video description:
Retweet showing a tweet saying "Thousands of employees have been laid off and the platform is working fine. Apparently they weren't really needed after all"
Clicking through to the OG tweet shows that it's unavailable. I.e. the platform is not working fine
I'm a fan of writing a cover letter for each job application.
Researching for a cover letter also helps me spot companies whose values didn’t align with mine. Choosing not to write an application saves myself (and the company) lots of time.
Boards
They're perfect for a job search since every application moves along a set of stages
The board view comes for free with any database so it's easy to configure
It's proven* that moving cards along a board is the most satisfying way of managing a project

Database
I captured the same data points for each job like salary, status, techstack, location
Instead of dumping as free text I created a DB where each page had properties. you can set the data type for each property eg. currency for salary
You get the following view for free
Synced blocks
I wrote my skills in 1 page and copied them into specific job pages. With many applications on the go I would have to change several pages if I updated my skills
Synced blocks let you write content in 1 page and display it in anywhere. Edit 1 and the rest update
to track applications for my last job hunt
Here are a handful of my fav features that helped me stay organised
For those currently job searching, I hope these tips make things a smidge easier
Idea for Pokemon gen 10.
Pokemon 0 and Pokemon 1. map is based on the internet (hence the binary inspired name). towns are inspired by social media sites and the gym leaders are their creators.
The elite 4 leader is none other than Tim Berners Lee.
Make it happen
