Until, inevitably, the cost of everything goes up $1,000/month. That’s basic economics. #SupplyAndDemand. But hey, this buys votes, and creates another huge and expensive govt bureaucracy as an added bonus. And makes us all poorer!!!
$1,000 a month doesn’t solve every problem. But it sure makes a lot of them easier to deal with.

Just make sure you find a way to control inflationary pressures caused by such as well and you're right. Problem is that without a ceiling, the sky just goes higher even as the floor comes up.

Since it's not being created, it shouldn't have a noticable affect on inflation. It's a redistribution of the wealth so everyone gets it while also paying into it.
