Anything advertising outside revenue will be soon removed for good. YouTube are starting their own revenue stream with patreon

There are many millions of vloggers and youtube streamers who have affiliate links in their video descriptions and/or chat, from amazon links to other shopping websites. If YouTube are stopping the use of affiliate links completely, this has to be done for EVERYONE not just a few

I hear ya. And it will happen. From a business point of view why do they want millions of people leaving their website for nothing when they could have millions leaving and making money from it. It won't be a popular move but if done correctly it will be okay in the end.

It will be a very unpopular move upsetting some of their biggest content creators, but i guess it's all about money at the end of the day.

It is. And it is for everyone. Or you wouldn't be on YouTube doing what your doing. They haven't gone about it the right way granted..but they are looking at progression. Your account will be safe and you will be streaming there again.
