If the right champions immigration and healthcare (PiS model?) they'll win supermajorities

The Republican party's voters have been moving left economically for a long time if you look at polls. Problem is the only ones in congress who are semi on board Trump train will freak out at any reforms like this.

Obviously get rid of regulations that are choking out the industry, for one many doctors dont have their individual practice anymore

I also think it’s time for Republicans to take the L and support the individual mandate. It’s the only way to ensure pre-existing conditions are covered without collapsing the market. Keep the mandate, repeal the ridiculous taxes and regs in the ACA.

It doesn’t have to be one-size fits all. Options is the best mode of reducing costs. GOP just has to concede people willing to have govt pick up tab for the poor & uncovered with & find a way to fund tha with a more efficient & effective universal basic/catostrophic care coverage

This all already exists. Everybody already is or can be covered through Medicaid. We already have universal healthcare & in some ways its contributing to the conditions that resulted in huge cost inflation for care. Providers have to soak those who can pay to make up for who cant

Add how these programs get used by states to cover anybody like CA covering non-citizens & nationalists should not be warm to state-centered systems. Yes theres problems in market w/corporate greed, yes certain programs are popular but I caution against moves to universal systems

Depends on what you mean by healthcare. If it means you want to strip people of health insurance because they have pre existing conditions, well, good luck with that.
