A judge wouldn’t go to work without metal detectors and guards, either would our politicians. It’s not acceptable that our kids go to school with out them. I would seriously contemplate home schooling if you have a school aged child. #FixIt

Exactly why I home schooled. Keep up the good fight Andrew. If you need anything from me, just ask.

This is such a logical solution that would greatly reduce if not eliminate completely. I have been saying this for years! I do not understand what the delay is, in just getting this done? It's common sense, it's the right thing to do, and it's needed right now! #FixIt

What is your plan for funding schools with metal detectors and more armed guards? Where will the money come from?

Maybe from a couple less Administrative Assistants, or one or two less Assistant Principles, just to name a starting point. Because of advanced degree bias in education these assistants usually make well into the top tier of earnings for a job that is basically a intern position.

Sadly, there have been enough school shooting to warrant at least metal detectors. There should be armed guards as well. How about doors that lock instantly when closed, but can open from the inside without a problem. #Fixit
