The last time that I checked a private business can choose who it does business with. You know, wedding cakes and all.
No one is arguing the legality of what YouTube did. More-so the morality and standard it sets.
Morality? YouTube doesn’t have to justify the morality of its actions, right? Wedding cakes and all.
No they don’t HAVE to. But I still believe people should be able to say what they want. And a company saying “he didn’t break the guidelines but we took away his monetization anyway” is dangerous ideology. Dozens of channels have lost monetization, beforehand having 0 infractions
People can say what they want, they are, however, not free from the consequences of having done so. The person in question can still say whatever he wants, but not on YT service. We live in a world where actions can and do often have consequences.
He actually still can upload and stream as he pleases. No strikes were filed against his account. @TeamYouTube has said explicitly he hasn’t and broken TOS. However, after public backlash (and a bunch of tears) they demonetized them, even when he didn’t break their rules.
Using slangs is offensive, but isn’t against YouTubes TOS. No on is crying, if you don’t see the issues beyond the creator himself, you never will.
You are a horrible person, calling people racists when the fact is that the Democratic Party has historically been the racism party and it was democrats in 1955 wanting segregation and not republicans you numbskull
