A particularly egregious aspect of this is that if a worker loses their job or is placed on unpaid leave because you are unvaccinated, they won't be eligible for EI benefits (even though they'd have paid into the system).

Justin Trudeau bragged that these measures are the "strongest in the world." Limiting freedom more than any other country seems like an odd thing to be proud of. But Canada's back, I guess?

Now, I'd be remiss to not point out that this "strongest in the world" vaccine mandate doesn't require proof of vaccination, just an attestation. So Trudeau can't even get his performative proclamations right.

Remember when cannabis was going to destroy our kids lives and be the decline of civilization so they put people in jail just for smoking a bit of it (except JT of course). 3 years later society is fine. Was it about the weed or was it about compliance.
