right - individual storms are not the same as long-term changes; eg we can estimate average impact but given storm might be above or below
I've talked to many scientists over the last few days and none seriously dispute that GW made impacts worse 1/

we know sea level rise made the storm surge worse, and warmer ocean and atmospheric temps certainly increased total rainfall 2/
