Laura Cooper’s deposition is currently on hold while Republicans remain inside the SCIF apparently trying to negotiate a settlement with Schiff. Source tells me the SCIF is now being swept because of the cell phone violations.

Republican committee members are behind those closed doors and are able to ask the witness questions. Once they have gathered all of the evidence these witnesses will be called back for public testimony. This is just the whining Republicans' last gasp attempt to gaslight.
And they get to intimidate a witness while they are at it.
