I don't understand how all linux kernel related lists have these inconsistent and poor archives. For postgres you can download archives, properly respond to threads, the archives are kept up2date, and there's only a single archive for all lists. https://www.postgresql.org/list/pgsql-hackers/ …

We weren't even using mailman pipermail, we used mhonarc i think it was called. But they had similar drawbacks. But I see and agree with your point :-) and our solution is even open source for them to use of they wanted to.
