If you’re freaking out about this SCOTUS decision it’s worth keeping in mind that the status quo ante — Obama’s status quo — was also indescribably awful.
In my non-lawyerly reading the decision really doesn't say much about constitutionality. Talks a lot about constitutional avoidance, but afaik that's just a "guidance" in statutory interpretation.

Re-reading summary of the oral hearing, seems like there'd possibly have been more votes for constitutional arguments, rather than interpreting the statutes to grant a hearing every 6 months. Seeing what the 9th makes out of this will be interesting. I think they've to reargue?
