I'm a pro-immigration grandson of four legal immigrants from the turn of the 19th century. But illegal immigrants are called "dreamers" or merely "undocumented," the inherent disrespect for the basic notions of sovereign borders and the rule of law infuriates even me.

I've recently come to the US as a legal immigrant. The experience was nearly kafkaesk. Obviously fixing that would solve all illegal immigration related issues, but it'd certainly make advocacy for legal immigration more credible.
