Not sure this is true of family separation — maybe if we define protest as protestS, distinct events, but not if we define it as outrage — and definitely not true of travel ban.

Pictures, figuratively, not literally :/. People actively being turned away at airports creates an acute sense of emergency. Whereas here one would hope - in a lot of case futilely so I assume - that there's time to react during the new non-asylum asylum proceedings.
