I feel like I've had a lot of conversations recently about what the end of all this looks like. It's a difficult conversation, because I genuinely don't know what is going to happen. Not in the sense that I'm unsure about which of a range of predictions will come through...

@lawfareblog. There's a lot that has to happen outside the laws and "burocratic" norms, but a lot inside that as well. How can e.g. ethics rules be strengthened. How can trust between DOJ et al and the public be rebuilt (what new laws)....1 reply 1 retweet 4 likes -
Without careful thought about it, I fear that the backlash will have a lot of unintended consequences, further destabilizing etc.. And being, though less than it used to, a bit away from day-to-day news ISTM that lawfare could make some regular room for that kind of discussion.

Understandably so. Might be in a panic attack mode - the barrage of news from the US, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary is really demoralizing - but I'm not sure a moment with more time will arrive in the next six months. Fear the pace will keep up at least till after midterms.
