I understand the appeal of a presidential pardon, but wouldn’t it mean you can’t invoke the Fifth Amendment as to pardoned crimes?
What's the enforcement mechanism? Contempt of court could just be pardoned as well. Obviously looks guilty as hell, but at that point they'd pretty much decided to not give a damn.
