To use your argot: the summit doesn't really generate much Bayesian updating either way. Yeah, it reduces the likelihood of conflict in the next few weeks. Given the vagueness of what was agreed, and given the past histories of both actors, that's about it tbh.

Medium/Long term it could conceivably increase risk no, if the sole consequence is easing pressure / weakening coalitions? Far from a foregone conclusion, but should be included in calculation about summit imo.
