The CDC will withdraw current PCR tests and recommends method that can *differentiate* between SARS-CoV-2 and influenza. This might make it even clearer as to how the flu just disappeared at precisely the same point that another respiratory virus emerged with a similar death rate

In Cyprus, influenza accounted for 126 deaths in 2018.
Response: No panic.
In 2020, COVID-19 accounted for 128 deaths – 118 (92%) of whom had underlying conditions – and zero flu deaths recorded.
Response: Mass hysteria which has resulted in a two-tier society.

The new test can "detect and differentiate" covid and flu. The old, couldn't. That is, it could not BOTH detect and differentiate. Because it could not detect flu!
