being an infosec freelancer is radically different than expecting payouts for spontaneously reported bugs
in the real world you don't cry because a bug bounty pays < than expected, be thankful on what you get and move on

that is like saying you have to take on a customer thar wants to pay you 100 usd per day.

No one is forcing bug bounty hunters to find bugs. They can do what they want, as am I to turn down a job.

yeah but as you can tell a customer that his idea of payment is a joke so can bug bounty submitters

I don't consider bug bounties payment for a job.

there ARE programs doing bounties as "price discovery" but I can count them on one hand (e.g. Google)
