Atlanta Police have arrested 6 people so far, some of whom were carrying explosives. These individuals meant violence and used the cover of peaceful protest to conceal their motives. Our law enforcement teams were prepared and resolved the situation swiftly.

It’s been one year and 20-20 Insight went to the people of Atlanta to see what they thought. I’m grateful that 69% of city of Atlanta voters rated me as an “excellent or good” mayor so far.

We exceeded our goal - breaking the record by raising $2.1M for UNCF, which is the largest amount ever at any ball in any city. And another $180K for the Atlanta Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Fund, which is our largest fundraiser as well.
