Always room for improvement and yet we have so much to be proud of San Francisco.https://twitter.com/mromano/status/1411047497837867012 …

I am under the impression that our city's daytime population was down more than 20% in 2020... (e.g., tourists, commuters, renters...)

Hang on, that's almost irrelevant to the double speak going on. Violent armed robberies are being reclassified as property crimes wholesale. The data is misleading but that also begs to question the motivation behind it. What type of society are they trying to create for us?

Can you provide a source that violent crimes are being reclassified as property crimes? Thanks!

According to the DA office, this wasn't a violent crime and they declined to press charges for such even tho one of the perps even used her stolen credit card.pic.twitter.com/nG5BMoL1X5

Hm the case was dropped due to lack of evidence (which is total Bs) but doesn’t support the statement that there has been a systemic policy change for reducing violent crimes to property crimes. Would really love a source on that statement.

I mean this was clearly a violent crime but by not charging it a such it will not be reflected in the stats so as far as the stats are concerned at that Richmond Safeway parking lot there didn't happen to be any violent crimes that day.

Oh, and the charges that were dropped were burglary, not assault and attempted car jacking which would have been violent crimes.

Let me make it even easier and ask you a question do you personally think that on that day and on that Safeway parking lot a violent crime happened, even so, the crime stats say it didnt?
