There’s always a time and place for emulation. I’m a collector but definitely don’t recommend anyone dropping hundreds of $$ on a whim just to satiate a craving to relive their past. Play games how you like.

Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is probably hands down my favorite game in the series but a physical copy USED retails for nearly $200. Emulate pricy stuff.

I don't care if people want to emulate the game, and I may make a mention if it's exceptionally expensive, but what does emulation have to do with the actual game you're reviewing or highlighting aside from that?

It gets especially disconcerting when there’s an official emulated version that is readily available and, occasionally, fixes issues with the original game, but they still recommend that original release.

I'd buy retro stuff if it's on steam or something honestly, but if I have to emulate it so be it and dont care if people choose that anyway over buying it. Iike I'm not going out of my way to buy a ps2 so I can play godhand when pcsx2 is just there

it reminds me of a kid saying "don't forget to like and subscribe" when they say goodbye to people, it's just a thing they've heard said and they just repeat it. If they thought about it for a minute it would make more sense to download kickmaster rom than pay $80+ from a scalper
