I guess, although it's hard to know the future. Indeed, not only do you not know your future career trajectory, you also can't say they're not going to retroactively hunt down everyone who posted a pepe meme and put us in camps.

I agree, on one level if i got doxed or people knew my views I wouldn't care all too much (my family already know) but at the same time as you say you do not know what the future holds, if you change your views you don't want people to think you still have them and punish for it

We know very well that at this point in time SJWs would basically try to get you fired from a job at McDonald's if they found out you had ever said the N-word on Twitter, and they'd probably succeed. It's also the case that you don't want the feds watching you.
