I think it does exist as force in the universe,but in the end it’s an enigma. Do good&evil originate from the same source, as the Kabbalists believed?Are they entirely seperate,each an original power(Manicheans’ view)?No definitive answer,tho certainty isn’t required for belief.

Actually I would hold that the Manicheans were in the core monist, saying that Ormuzd and Ahriman both came from Zervane-Akerene, although one could also justifiably say that the exoteric doctrine was mostly dualist
