Presuming you’re not on friendly terms with quantum mechanics then?

i think systems that do nothing but attempt to describe reality are pointless, and are mostly just ancient metaphysical observations reduced to modern terms

Clearly they aren’t pointless, since scientific observation leads to new technological solutions, & also has a profound influence on the imagination, on how we view ourselves & the cosmos. The welcome move away from anthropocentrism thanks to Copernicus, Galileo, Darwin etc.

for that to be valid imo you would have to give concrete examples of technological progress improving the human condition. and i don't necessarily think that heliocentrism was a good discovery for the psyche. much cosmic horror

Actually heliocentrism and geocentrism are both valid, depending on the perspective, which is entirely in accordance with the symbolism of the Sun and the Earth

the "objective" perspective would be heliocentrism, which due to the elevation of science is seen as the only valid perspective

Non-centrism is the properly valid perspective, since there is no objective centre that we can discover.

Actually, all-centrism is the most valid perspective, for every point can be taken as the centre, which is also perfectly in accordance with the symbolism

every point is A center, there is no point that can be objectively called THE center

Ah, I would say every centre is a centre because it represents the centre, but maybe that's just semantics

And this is in accordance with the fact that every particular state can be taken as a foundation for reaching higher states, by virtue of being a point on a ray of the intelligible sun
