Incredible that such a small number of people could have this impact. How can they be convinced, without a tax, to use a tiny portion of their vast wealth(power), for the greater good? Rather than taxing, is there an incentive ( other than the obvious) that could be leveraged?
These people are motivated by one thing only: making more money. They'll never voluntarily give up a dime. If geo-engineering could be shown to be profitable, they would get into that. We're the apex predators on this planet, and they are the apex predators of our species.
Instead of taxing just have the federal reserve print the measly 300billion and add it to the bloated deficit. The deficit is already 1trillion. Adding 300billion more will not matter. With no debt ceiling till 2021 Congress should act and push for this 300billion now. IMO.
