I’m not surprised at the heartlessness institutions have taken towards homeless, but I am shocked at first to see how far they keep taking it. It’s subtle but clearly directed. You can see it in architecture of even the most community embracing buildings.

Beautifully written, Anand, though I think you take the pox-on-both-their-mansions stance a bit too far: Benioff, after all, is advocating a tax on the rich, in the service of an indubitable public policy problem, whereas Dorsey is finding some excuse to avoid doing so.

They seem so numb..just to open up a soup kitchen...triage their needs and provide the direction needed to allow them to grow... Lost their hope and purpose. Give it back to them..doesn't cost much..
