I guess my point is that car, bikes, and scooters all impose externalities. The tech companies may not have asked for permission, but at least the last two are much better for environment.
Have we chosen to make such a dedication because their sheer numbers & space constraints left us with no other choice? Unlike these scooters (which also move on public infra) that are fewer in number & smaller than bicycles?
