Is this the same conference where Kushner met with MBS and Russian rep?

MBS is well educated, likely very intelligent, but he is also young and perhaps quite naive. Power does not endow a leader with wisdom (as we know all too well here/now in the US).
-
Interesting. You paint the torture and murder of a journalist as an unwise act of a naive leader. What an incredible underplaying of the thing. You're an excellent apologist.
-
No, not at all. I'm saying MBS badly miscalculated the consequences of his thuggery. In no way do I support nor sympathize with the Saudi regime.

you might go back to the original tweet and ask yourself, "Is praising MBS's intelligence and then saying he is PERHAPS naive an unqualified condemnation of a murder or is it more akin to a 'boys will be boys' style speech after a lamp was broken?" You might be surprised
-
My intent was analytical, not judgmental. Of course the murder is an atrocity worthy of condemnation but there is more to be explored here relevant to the thinking of MBS. Sea lion misses again.
