Imagine if every Supreme Court lawyer of conscience refused to answer questions from Justice Kavanaugh. Just stood silent.

Imagine if every lawyer in a case involving anything related to Kavanaugh's biases motions for recusal. http://Every.single.one  every.single.time. Kavanaugh is not obligated to recuse of course, but I think he's required to state why he will not. Make him defend himself daily.

Fun thought. But lawyers have a sworn duty to their clients. Can’t happen.

This, though? I could see lawyers quietly mispronouncing it as “Injustice Kavanaugh”https://twitter.com/colmorrisdavis/status/1048665474450505728?s=21 …

Have been dreaming of this since his exchange with Amy Klobuchar. Almost worth contempt of court, if it weren’t for the harm that would be done to our clients.

You have to be approved to work before the Court. Imagine how fast that approval would be revoked if they tried this. So yeah, go for it. Please.

If it’s true that Justice Roberts has been sitting on reports of misconduct regarding Kavanaugh, then I think it’s clear that it’ll be business as usual at SCOTUS.

While I appreciate the symbolism of it, it's not going to happen. These people are going to have to work together for many, many years. As long as they don't go in just sucking up (ala @LindseyGrahamSC) to the new kid, they will have to make this work. Ah, the dread...
