One important addendum. Amazon should make clear that this policy also applies to any contractors it uses. Otherwise, the policy may result in relying more on contractors.

I hope all those who tell every critic I know that “It’s easy to criticize. Talk about solutions” takes a moment to note that Jeff Bezos himself gives credit to critics. Naming hypocrisies is its own essential kind of solving.
