Very interesting response. But if a rigged society is a crime scene, and "fake change" is an accomplice to that crime, doesn't that put a greater onus on determining what reals change looks like?

Absolutely! And getting there starts by investigating what happened, who did it, and what to do about them.

A complication is that in ur crime-scene analogy, determining the perp & proper verdict/punishment is part of the solution that ur asking elite to embrace: ie, an element of sacrifice of their own status/privilege, etc. But I do like the point abt demand for remedy as absolution.
