The only real difference here is that social welfare recipients typically have to prove they need the money to survive.

Someone is still paying the bill. If I’d be “doing without” they still wouldn’t be getting any money. It was great when there was just Netflix and Hulu, but now everyone wants a piece of the pie and I’m not going to sub to everyone of them for 1-3 shows.

I switch off memberships, a month of one, a month of another. You don't need every service all the time. Sorry, not a fan of stealing, no matter how you justify it. Sharing passwords w/ close family, ok, Sharing w/ 20 of your friends = stealing. Intellectual property has value.
