Ana Mardoll Retweeted feminist next door

My perspective is I'm tired of "world without men" thought exercises and books. If all men were gone? White women would continue to harm Black women, abled women would harm disabled women, nonqueer women would harm queer women. Men don't have a monopoly on harm.https://twitter.com/emrazz/status/1342238226505986057 …

      4. Lastly, (though not exhaustively), Trans women are women, and are thus part of the "women" category here. Because they are women. So that makes sense. If you would like to contribute regarding disparate gender experiences as a trans man, you are welcome. Ok here we go. [5]

and yes, I'm aware that the thread briefly stipulates that yeah yeah women harm each other, but the entire thought experiment is steeped in ignoring that, and it tires me. I've read enough Gender Plague thought experiments this year.

"What if all the men (including trans men) disappeared? What then?" is a thought experiment that I find dehumanizing and gross, and I'm weary of it.

"Oh, feel free to put in your thoughts if you're a trans man, I guess?!" My thoughts as a trans man is I'm tired of (mostly cis) women treating my existence as a fun thing to turn off.

My thoughts as a trans man is that I've received more violence on social media from cis women than from anyone else and yet I don't feel the need to make ~thought experiments~ about a world without women, because you can't eliminate bullies by gender.

OP should probably notice that a large number of the people salivating over the proposed thought experiment are TERFs who are angry over OP's attempts at trans-inclusion. Maybe question why TERFs are so drawn to this particular thought experiment you love.

To put it another way: I'm tired of privileged cis women telling me that the world would be a glorious utopia if I and every trans man like me stopped existing.

Like, you wanna know what happens if All-The-Men-And-Only-The-Men disappeared for a day? A lot of trans men who don't know they're men disappear, and a lot of trans women who don't know they're women stay behind, and the universe just outted ALL OF THEM to the cis people.

So the whole "Oh, don't worry, the men come magically back unharmed the next day!!" is such a cis take because, well actually, outting me to a transphobic society is *harm*.

one of them even used the phrase "you stupid girl", which .... ok so i just woke up from a nap but like. That phrase is straight out of a villain's line in fiction and I didn't realize anyone would use it unironically trying to have a real conversation.

Well, historically, in the olden olden days of the 1970s, many "radical feminists" defined themselves as separatists. They wanted a woman only society.
