The GOP is fine with undermining the credibility of our elections – with completely baseless accusations of fraud – if it makes them appear strong to Trump’s MAGA base.
PA Lt. Gov: "At some point we all have to collectively accept yelling voter fraud when there is no evidence whatsoever of it is yelling fire in a crowded theater, & it is harming the democratic franchise of our country and the peaceful transition of power. We cannot accept that."

That's where the "where there is no evidence whatsoever" qualifier comes in. If there's evidence, absolutely pursue it; I don't think anyone on any side would tell you otherwise.
