Why not discuss your concerns with the author and ask why she decided to be so candid? Why do you think a boycott is the best way to proceed?

He’s still a person. I’m really uncomfortable with language that dismissed people as “vermin” or “trash.” People are not disposable.
-
I think
@tclementsuk is ass-backwards wrong about any number of things. I think more than a couple of his opinions are harmful. He’s still a person. -
He's a person with extremely harmful opinions. He's also a massive asshole & should not be given a platform
-
One of the principal reasons we cannot get the
#autism community to pull together is the tendency of some to call others assholes and vermin when they express ideas others see as unacceptable. Differences of opinion are reality. We must learn to accept. -
His opinions are not just a difference of opinion. They are actively harmful to marginalised people
-
If you believe that, you should work to change them. Start a conversation, open your minds. Change the laws. Calling him names won't help
-
My mind is open. His is closed. Calling him (accurate) names is the least I can do

I’m not saying meany of his views are not problematic and I don’t agree with a most of the view points he supports on this platform but I don’t know if calling him toxic vermin will solve anything, or accomplish convincing people who see our responses to him that ND has merit.
