And so ends 2018. Thank u all for being on this journey w/ me. It’s been horrible and exhausting and anxiety provoking living on the frontline of rising authoritarianism in America, but at the same time empowering fighting to take our country back!

  4. Founder of the hate group Proud Boys whines in a 3 page letter to neighbors about about lawn signs that say “Hate Has No Home Here.” On his podcast last week he took a less conciliatory tone: “If you have that sign on your lawn, you’re a fucking retard.”

  5. Pelosi has already won. The man-child is picking up his marbles and threatening a national emergency.

  6. Judge Trump too by how he cares for Americans less fortunate. He doesn’t. To him they are invisible! “As the shutdown drags on, it’s jeopardizing the welfare of those who live in HUD-subsidized housing, including low-income families and the elderly.”

  7. How about adding Trump, who often uses profanity himself to describe Republicans, Democrats, US citizens, other countries including US allies - and then add what he said! Do your job media!!!

  8. Mueller asks to seat the grand jury in the “rigged witch hunt” for an additional 6 months on top of the 18 months already in place. Apparently the investigation continues today to bear fruit.

  9. This man is acting increasingly like a dictator every day - thinking he can bypass Congress and unilaterally impose his will to please Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh. Shame on you GOP for allowing this in the past and to continue!

  10. So Pelosi has now backed Trump into the corner of Democrats want to re-open the government, and he wants to keep it closed for months or even years.

  11. The point is you people are such fucking hypocrites! For 2 years, you’ve neglected your oath to the constitutional and allowed an aspiring authoritarian to break norms, rules and traditions, and denigrate our country’s values and global standing. And now you’re upset. Spare me!

The trans flag is proudly & openly displayed next to the Virginia flag outside ’s new office! She said to me, “Did you see the flag?! I think we’re the only office on the Hill with one.” To all her volunteers: the flag is there because of you & for you! Change is here!

I wore all-white today to honor the women who paved the path before me, and for all the women yet to come. From suffragettes to Shirley Chisholm, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the mothers of the movement. ⬇️

  20. This is an important reminder of the legacy we are leaving our children and grandchildren as the GOP always likes to say: under Trump our national debt has ballooned by $2 TRILLION to $22 trillion, due largely to the GOP tax cut for the rich.

  21. Trump does not understand that there are separations of power, or if it has been explained to him, he does not care or believe he is bound by norms. It is imperative that we not get dulled to this, and that we demand accountability via the House.
